Ghanaian goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi has officially joined South African Premier Soccer League side Stellenbosch FC on a long-term contract.
The 25-year-old shot-stopper, who previously played for Hearts of Oak, will wear the No. 16 jersey at his new club as he begins the next chapter of his career in South Africa.
Agbasi’s move to Stellenbosch marks another important step in his development, with the Ghanaian now set to compete for the starting goalkeeper’s position within the squad.
Known for his goalkeeping abilities and experience in Ghanaian football, Agbasi will be hoping to make an immediate impression and establish himself as a key figure at Stellenbosch.
The move also provides the former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper with an opportunity to further his career outside Ghana and test himself in one of Africa’s most competitive domestic leagues.
