The NDC member of parliament for odododiodoo Nii Lante Vanderpuje is dragging the Sekyere-Kumawu District Coordinator, the Police head and others to the privileges committee of parliament for infringing on the rights of an NPP MP of the Kumawu Constituency Philip Basoah.
Philip Boasoh was at the center of a controversy during the vote to confirm the president’s nominee for DCE for that area.
The MP who is also an ex official member of the assembly was physically prevented from taking part in the exercise.
Nii Lante Vanderpuje finds the action of the assembly as an insult to the dignity of parliament and has indicated his preparedness to seek the leave of the Speaker to sermon the officers before the house.
