Popular Ghanaian pastor, Rev. Obofour, has shared his perspective on education, urging Ghanaians to rethink the importance of formal schooling.
According to him, after deep reflection and analysis, he has concluded that education—often regarded as a tool for refining the mind, as philosopher A.N. Whitehead suggested—is ultimately pointless.
Rev. Obofour argues that if the primary goal is to achieve wealth, there are numerous alternative paths to success.
He cites Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu as an example, emphasizing that formal education is not a necessity for financial prosperity.
He, therefore, advises Ghanaians to be wise, take life seriously, and not overly prioritize schooling.
