Sarr Scoreless As Wizards Fell Short To The Blazers
Alexandre Sarr went scoreless in his second Summer League game as his Washington Wizards fell short, 82-80 against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The second-overall selection in the 2024 NBA Draft finished with fifteen shot attempts, seven from beyond the arc, with none of them to finding the net, in just under 30 minutes of action.
Sarr did manage to establish his own presence on the defensive end, as the 19-year-old recorded nine rebounds, three blocks and a steal while also adding three assists.
The France product showed a contrast to his Summer League debut, where he went toe-to-toe with the first overall pick in the draft, Zaccharie Risacher and the Atlanta Hawks and manage to finished with 12 points, six of which were off two difficult pull-up threes, along with seven rebounds, four assists and four blocks en route to the win.
