Sarkodie’s preference for English rap over vernacular is explained by Hammer.

According to Hammer, rapping in English can potentially broaden an artist’s audience, leading to increased financial gain.

He mentioned that using local languages in rap may limit the artist’s reach. Hammer expressed optimism about Sarkodie’s shift to English rap, believing that it could elevate his career and financial success.

He praised Sarkodie’s English rap skills on his album “No Pressure,” noting his surprise and admiration for the transformation.
