On the morning show Adekyee Mu Nsem on Ahotor 92.3 FM, host Citizen Kofi Owusu engaged Precious Agbenya in a discussion focused on leadership within the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
During the interview, Mr. Agbenya recounted a recent experience in Sogakope in the Volta Region, where he witnessed what he described as exemplary leadership demonstrated by Sammy Gyamfi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Gold Board.
According to Mr. Agbenya, Mr. Gyamfi’s interaction with party members and grassroots supporters left a lasting impression. He noted that the Gold Board CEO personally engaged party faithful, offering words of encouragement and motivation — an approach he believes reflects a leader committed to collective progress and unity.
Mr. Agbenya emphasized that such conduct sets a worthy example for other political appointees, urging them to emulate Mr. Gyamfi’s style of leadership. He explained that consistent engagement with grassroots members helps strengthen the party’s foundation and fosters unity among supporters.
“He has shown that he is a leader who wants everyone to succeed,” Mr. Agbenya stated, adding that Mr. Gyamfi’s humility and accessibility have not gone unnoticed among party supporters.
He further expressed hope for Mr. Gyamfi’s continued success, noting that his achievements would ultimately benefit the grassroots base of the party. Mr. Agbenya concluded by affirming that party faithful remain firmly behind the Gold Board CEO because of his dedication, inclusiveness, and commitment to grassroots development.
