Sack any indiscipline player from the team even if he is the best player – Otumfuo Osei Tutu ii.
The life patron of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has cautioned the entire team to exhibit discipline and have the interest of the club at heart.
The interim management committee, technical team and the entire playing body paid a courtesy call on His Royal Highness at manhyia Palace where Otumfuo emphasized that he has instructed the technical team to axe any player who shows indiscipline in the club even if he is the best player in the club .
“I have instructed the coach to axe every player who is indiscipline in the team even if he is the best player in the team . I required discipline players , If you are good at playing football and you are not disciplined you can decide to leave for the team ,If you are a good player and is well disciplined as well we would assist you to attain greater achievements. If you want to play kotoko then you must have the commitment to do so because that is what will help you gain higher standard results. But if you want to focus on the money aspect you wouldn’t get anywhere.”
At present, Kotoko are operating without a board or management, as Otumfuo Osei Tutu has entrusted the club’s fate into the hands of the IMC made up of Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah, Kwesi Appiah, former Black Stars Coach, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum as the Head Coach,and Emmanuel Newton Dasobere.
