Ruth Kadiri Opens Up About Her Fear of Marriage and Private Wedding

Nollywood actress and producer Ruth Kadiri has opened up about the fears and uncertainties that influenced her decision to keep her marriage largely away from the public eye.

The actress revealed that she once had a strong phobia of marriage, admitting that she was afraid of making the wrong decision and watching everything fall apart.

According to Ruth, she constantly battled with the fear of the unknown and questioned whether getting married would eventually lead to problems. Because of these concerns, she was not ready for a highly publicised marriage, a decision her husband reportedly understood and supported.

Ruth also explained that she wanted to avoid unnecessary drama surrounding her relationship. This influenced the couple’s decision to have an intimate wedding attended by only 50 people.

She revealed that her husband invited 25 people while she also invited 25, keeping the ceremony deliberately small and private. In her words, if she had been abroad, she probably would have simply gone to the registry with her husband and gotten married without a large ceremony.

Ruth Kadiri has over the years become known not only for her acting career but also for her work as a producer and her preference for keeping important aspects of her personal life away from the spotlight.

Her latest revelation offers fans a glimpse into the mindset behind her private approach to marriage and shows that, despite her public status, she also had to overcome personal fears and uncertainties before taking the step into married life.
