Ross County FC Secures Jordan Amissah’s Future with New Two-Year Contract
Ross County FC fans have reason to celebrate as Ghanaian goalkeeper Jordan Amissah has committed his future to the club, signing a fresh two-year contract that will keep him at the Scottish side until the summer of 2027.
Since joining Ross County FC on a short-term deal on December 6, 2024, the 23-year-old has rapidly established himself as a key player. In just 12 appearances, Amissah has recorded four clean sheets, showcasing his exceptional goalkeeping skills.
Manager Don Cowie expressed his delight at Amissah’s contract extension.
“We are thrilled that Jordi has extended his stay at the club by signing a new deal. He has been a fantastic addition to the group since joining in December and has provided excellent competition in the goalkeeping area,” Cowie said.
Amissah’s path to success began in the youth academies of German powerhouses Holsterhausen Herne, VfL Bochum, Schalke 04, and Borussia Dortmund.
He later moved to England in 2018 to join Sheffield United’s youth setup. Now, he’s forging a promising career in Scotland with Ross County FC.
