A dramatic twist unfolded at the High Court today as businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye (RNAQ) reportedly denied claims that socialite and musician Hajia4Real is his concubine during ongoing custody proceedings involving his ex-wife, Joana Quaye.
The courtroom moment quickly became a major talking point, considering years of public speculation and numerous public appearances that linked RNAQ and Hajia4Real together at parties, social events, and other gatherings.
The issue surfaced after Joana Quaye asked the court to restrict Hajia4Real’s access to their children and review existing custody arrangements. According to Joana, Hajia4Real’s involvement in the family contributed to the breakdown of the marriage and her continued interaction with the children is not in their best interest.
However, RNAQ strongly rejected the allegations. In court documents, he described claims that Hajia4Real is his concubine as “false,” “misleading,” and “factually inaccurate,” insisting that no such relationship exists.
The development has sparked widespread public discussion, with many questioning the nature of the relationship that has long been the subject of media and social media conversations.
Meanwhile, the legal battle is now focused on the welfare of the children. Joana’s legal team is reportedly seeking to introduce video evidence they believe supports their request to limit Hajia4Real’s involvement in the children’s lives.
RNAQ’s lawyers, however, maintain that the allegations lack merit and argue that the videos do not demonstrate any improper conduct.
The court has adjourned the matter to June 26, when the presiding judge is expected to personally review the video evidence before making a decision on whether Hajia4Real’s access to the children should be restricted and whether the current custody arrangements should be altered.
As the case continues, RNAQ’s public denial of any romantic relationship with Hajia4Real has emerged as one of the most surprising and widely discussed moments of the proceedings.
