Our attention has been drawn to a publication which was carried on ahotoronline.com on 18th April 2018. Family of deceased has stated that:
The so called injunction filed on 11 April 2018 was not granted to the woman. The Judge at Tema High court at the very first hearing on 30th April 2018 and ordered that until the woman proves her legitimacy as wife to the court and the family;
1. The funeral should be celebrated without the name of the woman as wife on the obituary.
2. An obituray without the woman’s name was ordered by the court and deposited at the court as proof.
The funeral was celebrated on 12 May 2018 as approved by the High Court, Tema.
What is pending in court is claims by the woman that she is the only legitimate wife of the late Isaac Pinto. They have been delaying the court process for nearly a year now.
The woman projecting herself as wife has looted and distroyed properties of the late Isaac Pinto.
Administrators of his estate have filed suits against the woman for
1. Contempt of court
2. Intermeddling in the estate of the deceased.
3. Theft and deception (onging investigations at Tema police regional crime office)
4. Injunctions preventing the woman from further intermeddling.
After a long delay tactics through series of adjournments in court by the woman and her lawyer for over a year now, the court started hearing again last Friday 12 April 2019.
The next hearing is 30th April 2019.
