Registrar of Companies to Increase Fees from February 2

Fees for services at the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) will rise starting Monday, February 2, 2026.

The hike aligns with the fees and charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which requires public institutions to review their charges. This change will impact all ORC services nationwide, including company incorporation, business name registration, and related offerings.

Services Affected

A notice reviewed by Joy Business confirms that the increase covers the full range of ORC services. The office says the adjustment supports sustainable operations and better customer experiences across Ghana.

New Charges and Next Steps

Specific new rates weren’t detailed in the notice, but full information will appear on the ORC website and at all offices before the date takes effect. The ORC urges the public to note the changes and prepare for transactions afterwards.

This follows a wave of compliance with the 2025 regulations, including last week’s fee increases announced by the National Identification Authority to enhance service quality.
