The Rastafari Council, Ghana (RCG), in collaboration with the Natural Way Herbal Clinic, is set to host a free health screening exercise on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) office in Accra.

This initiative is part of the lead-up activities to the highly anticipated 10th National Rastafari Conference, scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2025.

The health screening aims to provide essential medical check-ups to the general public, ensuring increased access to healthcare services.

Richard Kwaku Hussey, a.k.a. Ras Mawuli, the National Organizer of the Rastafari Council, Ghana, emphasized the council’s commitment to community well-being, stating, “RCG recognizes the importance of health and well-being within our communities.

Through this partnership with the Natural Way Herbal Clinic, we are ensuring that individuals have access to crucial health services, particularly those who may not have regular medical check-ups.”

He further added, “Our goal with this health screening is to address the fundamental challenges surrounding access to quality healthcare services in Ghana.”

The screening will include tests for common diseases, and participants will receive vital health education from Dr. Wiafe Akenten, CEO of Natural Way Herbal Clinic.

He will provide insights on healthy eating habits, managing chronic conditions, and other essential health topics.
