Rainstorm destroys the roof of Somanya Senior High School

A rainstorm has hit many homes and other public institutions in Somanya, in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region, rendering many building roofless.

The storm which lasted for an hour affected the roof of the Somanya Senior High School and other houses with deep cracks in the affected buildings.

Reports indicated that, the storm which started at about 3pm was preceded by about 15 minutes strong winds uprooting many huge trees thereby, breaking down the high tensions in the town.
