The Founder and Leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to remain mindful of those who stood by the party before it regained political power. According to him, it is common for leaders to forget certain individuals once power is secured, but true leadership requires acknowledging and rewarding loyalty.
Prophet Gaisie reminded the party that political authority is neither permanent nor inherited. He stressed that power is granted by God through the will of the people, and for that reason, those who contributed to the party’s success must not be sidelined.
He compared political power to an ice block—something that can melt at any moment—serving as a warning that neglecting grassroots supporters could have long-term consequences. He urged the NDC to recognize the pastors, traditional leaders, businesspeople, and dedicated followers who supported them through difficult times.
Prophet Gaisie acknowledged that his advice may be met with mixed reactions, but made it clear that he will not hesitate to repeat it whenever necessary.
His comments come on the heels of growing concerns among party grassroots, as well as some pastors and prophets, who feel neglected by the current government despite their contributions to the party’s victory.
