The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has emphasized the importance of maintaining peace throughout the 2024 elections.
She urged all Ghanaians to ensure a peaceful atmosphere before, during, and after the election period. According to her, the NDC is committed to promoting peace and intends to use peaceful means to win the upcoming elections.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang is currently touring various markets in the Greater Accra Region as part of her outreach efforts. On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, she visited the Tema Market, where she engaged with traders and listened to their concerns.
Notable party members, including former NDC National Chairman Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo and Tema East MP Isaac Ashai Odamtten, along with other dignitaries, accompanied her on this visit.
The tour is part of a broader initiative to connect with the grassroots and rally support for the NDC’s agenda in the upcoming elections.
