President Mahama: “We Cannot Afford to Fail Ghanaians in Delivering Equal Justice and Good Governance”

Accra, Ghana – President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has emphasized that Ghanaians desire a system that ensures equal justice for all.

According to the President, the citizens of Ghana will accept nothing less than equal justice.

Speaking at the Presidency during the swearing-in ceremony of six minister designates, President Mahama stated:

“The people of Ghana are desirous of a system that guarantees equal justice for all, and nothing more, or nothing less.”

He acknowledged the pressing challenges ahead and promised that his government would rise to meet them, aiming to reset the nation.

“It is quite clear that so much needs to be done in so short a time, and I assure the people of Ghana that this government will rise to the challenge and will reset our country,” he said.

The President also highlighted that the electoral mandate from the people reflects their demand for the highest standards of governance.

He emphasized the importance of meeting these expectations, as failure is not an option.

“As I pointed out during my inaugural speech, Ghanaians have through their votes declared their intention to demand the highest standards of governance, and we cannot afford to fail them, and this naturally puts a burden of responsibility on us,” the President told the newly sworn-in ministers.

By reiterating the need for equal justice and responsible governance, President Mahama sent a clear message about his administration’s priorities and commitment to the people of Ghana.
