President Mahama Vows Accountability: ORAL Committee Report to be Forwarded for Investigation

President John Dramani Mahama has announced that the findings of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee will be submitted to the appropriate investigative bodies for further action. The President, who is set to receive the committee’s report next week, emphasized his administration’s commitment to accountability and the fight against corruption.

Speaking during his Thank You Tour in the Central Region, Mahama made it clear that his government will not tolerate financial mismanagement or misconduct, regardless of political affiliation. He cautioned his newly appointed officials that they would be held to the same ethical and legal standards as those who served in the previous administration.

“This report will not gather dust on a shelf,” Mahama assured the public. “Every recommendation will be carefully examined, and those found culpable will face the full force of the law. Corruption has no place in our governance, and we must ensure that public resources are protected and used for the benefit of all Ghanaians.”

The Operation Recover All Loot initiative was launched to investigate and reclaim state funds and assets that may have been misappropriated. With growing public concern over corruption, Mahama’s firm stance signals a decisive move toward greater transparency and good governance.

As the nation awaits the contents of the ORAL report, expectations are high that this initiative will mark a turning point in Ghana’s fight against corruption and the quest for justice.
