President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has extended heartfelt Mother’s Day greetings to all Ghanaian mothers, with a special message dedicated to the Vice President, H.E. Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
In a warm gesture shared via his official Facebook page, President Mahama revealed that he paid a personal visit to the Vice President on the morning of Mother’s Day to wish her well.
“A special Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President, @njoagyemang, whom I had the pleasure of visiting earlier this morning,” he wrote.
The President went on to reassure the nation that the Vice President, who has recently recovered from illness, is doing well and will soon resume her official duties.
“She is taking a deserved rest after recovering from illness and looking forward to resuming her duties soon. To her and all Ghanaian mothers, I say Happy Mother’s Day,” President Mahama added.
The message underscores the John Mahama administration’s appreciation for the contributions of women, particularly mothers, to Ghana’s development and the continued support for the Vice President as she regains full strength.
