
Kwahu, Ghana – In a display of statesmanship and unity, President of the Republic of Ghana H.E John Dramani Mahama stopped by to pay a courtesy visit to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the Easter celebrations in the Kwahu mountains.
President Mahama, who was in Kwahu as part of his engagements—including participation in the 2nd Kwahu Business Forum on Saturday, April 19, 2025, where he met with industry leaders to discuss strategies for growing businesses in Ghana—took time to visit his predecessor before departing the area.
The symbolic meeting took place on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, during the annual Kwahu Easter celebrations—a cherished tradition deeply woven into Ghana’s cultural and spiritual fabric.
