This initiative aims to address gaps and challenges in Ghana’s 1992 Constitution, building on previous review efforts.

Mandate of the Committee
The committee’s primary responsibilities include:
Evaluating the implementation challenges and gaps identified by the 2010 Constitution Review Commission and the 2023 Constitution Review Consultative Committee.
Engaging key stakeholders to gather diverse views on proposed amendments to the 1992 Constitution.
Making actionable recommendations aimed at strengthening democratic governance in Ghana.

Timeline for Recommendations
In a statement signed by Acting Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidency confirmed that the committee is expected to submit its recommendations within five months.
These proposals will then be reviewed by the government for further action.
