President Mahama Arrives in Abidjan for Africa CEO Forum 2025

Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire – President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, has arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to participate in the Africa CEO Forum 2025, a premier platform bringing together Africa’s top political and business leaders for high-level dialogue on economic growth, investment, and sustainable development.

President Mahama and his delegation touched down at the Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport on Monday, May 12, 2025, ahead of his scheduled engagement at the forum.

On Tuesday, May 13, the President will take part in a high-profile conversation centered on Ghana’s energy strategy, where he will outline the country’s dual-track approach harnessing both oil and renewable energy to power its economic transformation agenda.

The session will highlight Ghana’s commitment to balancing traditional energy resources with a green transition, aligning with broader goals for sustainable industrialization and inclusive growth.

The two-day summit, taking place from May 12 to 13, brings together leading CEOs, investors, policymakers, and development partners from across the continent and the globe.

It serves as a critical space for shaping policies, forging partnerships, and advancing Africa’s economic agenda.

President Mahama is accompanied by a delegation that includes Executive Secretary to the President Dr. Callistus Mahama, Presidential advisor on the economy Mr. Seth Terkper, and the Deputy Chief of Staff Mr. Stan Xoese Dogbe.
