Former Minister of Science and Technology, Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng has shared his view on the fight indicating that, President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo cannot say he has won the fight against bribe and corruption.
According to the former chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Committee against Illegal mining said he is very sad with that development.
Professor Frimpong Boateng has expressed skepticism regarding President Akufo-Addo’s claims of successfully combating corruption in Ghana.
Frimpong Boateng suggests that Akufo-Addo cannot definitively assert that he has “fought and won” the battle against corruption.
This statement implies that Frimpong Boateng believes there is still ongoing corruption within the country, despite any efforts made by the Akufo-Addo administration to combat it.
It underscores the complexity and persistence of corruption as a societal issue that cannot be easily eradicated.
Frimpong Boateng’s remarks may reflect broader concerns about the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures under Akufo-Addo’s leadership and the need for continued vigilance and improvement in this area.
