Presbyterian University VC Urges Fresh Students to Uphold Discipline and Focus on Academics
The Vice-Chancellor of Presbyterian University-Ghana (PUG), Professor John Ofosu Anim, has advised newly admitted students to avoid bad associations and distractions that could derail their academic journey.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline, making the most of their university experience, and upholding the core values of the institution.
Speaking at an orientation ceremony for the fresh students, Prof. Anim encouraged them to stay committed to their studies, build positive networks, and embrace the Presbyterian ideology, which promotes integrity, excellence, and service to society.
“As you begin this new chapter, be mindful of the choices you make. Avoid any negative influences that could hinder your progress. Stay focused on your academic goals and align yourselves with the values of hard work, discipline, and moral uprightness, which are central to the Presbyterian tradition,” he stated.
