Police Rubbish ‘Missing Penis’ Claims in Amenfi West, Chase Mob for

The Ghana Police Service has torn apart widespread claims of missing penises in Amenfi West, describing the reports as false, superstitious and baseless.

Medical examinations have confirmed that all 10 men who claimed their genitals vanished after sex are fully intact. Nothing is missing.

According to the Asankragwa Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Vitus Napen, the ridiculous reports were filed between October 16 and 23, 2026 — six from Wassa Dunkwa, two from Asankragwa, and one each from Abor Nkwanta and Breman.

Every single claim failed medical test. Yet, the false alarm has already caused needless fear and panic, especially among the youth who have been made to believe strangers can spiritually steal manhood. Police say there is zero evidence linking any suspect to the claims.

The Service has issued a stern warning to residents to stop spreading unverified, sensational nonsense that fuels fear and lawlessness, cautioning that such conduct will not be tolerated and could land peddlers in trouble with the law.

The Police also strongly condemned the barbaric assault of a suspect over the fabricated claims, revealing that the victim is now on admission receiving treatment.

A manhunt is underway for those behind the attack.

Police are asking residents with credible information to come forward and help bring the attackers to justice.

Chief Superintendent Napen urged residents to use their heads — verify information before sharing, report to the police, and stop taking the law into their own hands. He also charged traditional leaders to wake up to their responsibility and educate their people against such ignorant and dangerous beliefs.
