Police Manhunt in Begoro

Authorities are on the trail of “James Bond,” the well‑known owner of BJ Tech Guest House in Ehiamankyene, after his girlfriend, the popular market food vendor Koryo, was found dead inside the property.

The tragic discovery happened when Koryo’s younger brother, suspecting she was with her boyfriend, peeked through a window and saw her lying in a pool of blood. He alerted their parents, and police from Begoro station arrived the next evening to recover the body, which is now at Begoro Government Hospital.

Koryo and James Bond had a child together, but didn’t live together and kept the affair secret since Koryo’s family disapproved of the relatinship .

Koryo visited the guest house on Wednesday, Nov 12, and never returned home. Her brother’s gruesome find led to the police response.

Angry youths set fire to the suspect’s Apsonic GY9 motorbike and threatened to burn the guest house down thereby heightening the tension .

Deputy Director of NADMO for Fanteakwa South, John Kwame Narh, confirmed that the suspect is on the run and urged the public to stay calm while investigations continue .
