Police have shot and killed four suspected armed robbers during a gun battle on the Bekwai-Fomena Highway in the Ashanti Region.
The incident occurred on Sunday, April 13, 2025, after the suspects reportedly mounted a roadblock and robbed several commuters.
Four of the suspects were killed on the spot, while two others who sustained gunshot wounds managed to escape into a nearby bush, following a swift response by the Police.
