Lawyer to the IGP, has said the Chairman of the Adhoc Committee, Atta Akyea keeps making prejudicial comment which is not acceptable.
According to Lawyer Kwame Gyan, the chairman who ought to be neutral to the witnesses has shown his biases.
In an interaction with the media ahead of today’s in camera hearing, he insisted that, Atta Akyea has his own agenda that he is pursuing in the matter.
He said this behaviour of the chairman will not be countenanced going forward.
According to him, he will ensure every action of his will be in tandem with the law, or else it will be opposed strongly.
Meanwhile, Kofi Bentil, an official spokesperson on the IGP’s legal team has indicated that, they are speaking on matters of facts and that, what is right must be done.
“We are here to assist the committee to achieve the aims for which it was set up”.
