The U.S. Embassy in Accra has released over 1,000 non-immigrant visa appointment slots, giving applicants a chance to book interviews as early as next week.
These slots focus mainly on B1/B2 visas for business and tourism trips to the United States.
In a Facebook post today, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Embassy stated: “There are more than 1,000 B1/B2 visa appointment slots available in the next week – one of those could be yours.”
Embassy officials urge those planning U.S. travel whether for business meetings, conferences, tourism, or family visits to book right away. If you already have a later appointment, they recommend rescheduling to an earlier slot if possible.
Head to the Embassy’s official visa information page to apply and grab a spot. This move should help clear backlogs and speed up processing for travelers.
