Otto Addo Is Not Good to Coach Black Stars – Ex-Black Stars Player Charles Taylor Declares

Former Black Stars player Charles Kwaku Asampong Banie Taylor has criticized that the head coach of the Black Stars is not the right man to handle the Ghana national team.

In an exclusive interview on Ahotor Agorokensie , Charles Taylor expressed that the tactical deficiencies and inconsistent team performances which lead to the narrow defeat to Angola in the 2025 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Charles Taylor further explained that, he believes that the national team requires a more experienced and tactical coach to maximize the potential of Ghana’s top players and also must have respect for the local based clubs who nurture good local players. Football is not played only overseas but must give chances to few good local players .

Ghana Black Stars lost 0:1 to Angola in their 2025 Afcon Opener game and will travel to Morocco to face Niger in their second group F game .
