Osman Bukari Stars in Austin FC’s US Open Cup Win

Ghana international Osman Bukari was named Man of the Match after a stellar performance for Austin FC in their US Open Cup game against Houston Dynamo.

Bukari scored a penalty and delivered an assist as Austin secured a 3-1 victory at Q2 Stadium.

Brandon Vazquez opened the scoring for Austin in the 29th minute. Bukari doubled the lead with a calmly taken penalty in the 47th minute, before laying off a pass for Ilie Sanchez to fire home Austin’s third goal.

The 25-year-old winger’s performance was instrumental in Austin’s win. He now has two goal contributions in the ongoing US Open Cup and will look to build on this form as Austin eyes a deep run in the competition.
