Ghanaian actor Clement Bonney, also known as ‘Mr. Beautiful’, has sparked controversy by sharing his views on polygamy.
In a recent interview, he asserted that having multiple wives is not necessarily a bad practice, suggesting that only financially struggling men perceive polygamy as a waste of money.
According to him, those who criticize polygamy are likely to be facing financial difficulties, whereas wealthy men have a different perspective.
Mr. Beautiful also revealed that he is currently selling sugarcane and coconuts to make a living, attributing this change in livelihood to the challenges faced due to the decline of the movie industry.
He further disclosed that the coconuts he sells are sourced from his hometown, Abura Dunkwa, in the Central Region of Ghana.
The actor also expressed his disappointment with celebrities who supported the presidential bid of Nana Akufo-Addo, suggesting that his colleagues should be ashamed of themselves for their endorsement.
