The Oklahoma City Thunder lost 127-116 to Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors in a thrilling encounter in the Paycom center.
The Thunder trailed 107-79 heading into the fourth quarter when coach Mark Daigneault brought a lineup of young bulls, a group that featured rookies Dillon Jones and Ajay Mitchell. After a 20-5 run, the kids reeled the Thunder back in, but the Warriors didn’t let go; they responded swiftly by leading by as much as 30. The Warriors scored a combined 81 points in the second and third quarters, sending a deflated Thunder squad into disbelief.
The Warriors have won 8 games this season, lost only two to the Cavaliers, and are hoping to win the Western Conference series.
