Ofori Amponsah argues that Ghana’s economic crisis stems from external shocks rather than mismanagement

Ofori Amponsah, the award-winning Highlife artiste, recently spoke about the financial crisis in Ghana during an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3.

He pointed out that the country’s financial challenges are due to external shocks rather than mismanagement.

Amponsah emphasized the need for the nation to come together to address these challenges, stating that no single person can fix it alone.

He expressed concern about the lack of opportunities that people fail to see in the country, especially in the agricultural sector.

According to him, the focus should be on activities that generate income rather than taking shortcuts for quick money. He called for introspection as a nation and stressed the importance of unity in fixing the country’s issues.

Furthermore, Amponsah shared his support for the NPP, citing their interventionist programs and expressing optimism about the future transformation of Ghana.

He also highlighted the importance of educating the youth and emphasized the need for a vision for a digital Ghana in the current digital age.
