Ghanaian rap legend Obrafour is lending his voice to an upcoming faith-based gathering dubbed “Unveiling the Gen Z Service,” organised by SpiritLife Revival Ministries.
The programme is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the forecourt of the Mamprobi Post Office in Accra, starting at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Breakfast will also be served to attendees.
The event seeks to provide an avenue for young people to learn, grow and serve, with a focus on faith, purpose and spiritual development.
Obrafour, known for his profound lyrics and storytelling, has been one of the most influential figures in Ghanaian hip-hop. He rose to prominence in the 1990s and became a major force in the development of Hiplife, blending Ghanaian musical traditions with hip-hop.
His landmark debut album, Pae Mu Ka, released in 1999, cemented his status as one of Ghana’s leading rappers. Over the years, songs such as “Pae Mu Ka,” “Kwame Nkrumah,” “Oye Ohene”, and “Yaanom” have contributed to his enduring legacy.
Beyond entertainment, Obrafour’s music has often touched on life, morality, relationships, society and personal struggles, making his work resonate with generations of Ghanaian listeners.
