Former coach of Sarmatex FC, Nurudeen Amadu has spoken revealing the decision to part ways with the Samraboi based Ghana Premier League side.
Nurudeen resigned on Monday, December 16, 2024 just into the middle of the 2024/2025 season and just after his side lost narrowly to Kpando Hearts of Lions on Saturday in the ongoing campaign- a move that left the club and many in shock as it was not expected.
The Premier League winning coach revealed on Max FM lack of motivation is the driving factor for his decision to depart the club.
“He [Dr Richard Duah Nsenkyire] is a very kind and generous person who is also very understanding,” he said.
“I met with him on Monday on what he felt would help the team, which actually impressed me. Though he had been supportive, he tells me when I go wrong.”
“If you are demotivated or not happy, then you’ll need to look elsewhere. Wherever you go, you’ll have to do your best,” Amadu stated.
Samartex under Nurudeen Amadu annexed the 2023/24 Premier League title in their maiden appearance.
The club have announced assistant coach, Henry Wellington is expected to take charge of the club in the interim and with immediate effect supervise their clash against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in the Matchday 14 games this weekend.
