Nsoatreman FC Official Handed One-Year Ban for Misconduct

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has imposed a one-year ban on Nsoatreman FC official Kudus Bashiru for his misconduct during a Premier League match against Asasnte Kotoko on February 2, 2025.

Bashiru, a former Equipment Officer of Nsoatreman FC, was found guilty of unlawfully entering the inner perimeter of the stadium and physically assaulting Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Mohammed Camara.

This incident prompted a thorough investigation by the GFA, resulting in the one-year ban.

The ban prohibits Bashiru from participating in any football-related activities for the duration of one year. This decision significantly impacts his involvement with Nsoatreman FC and serves as a warning to others. The GFA emphasized that any future misconduct by Bashiru would attract severe sanctions.

The GFA’s decision to impose a one-year suspension on Bashiru underscores the association’s commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy on violence in football.

This stance aims to promote a safe and respectful environment for players, officials, and spectators alike.
