Nsoatreman FC Crowns MTN-FA Cup Champions
The inform Nsoatreman FC has been crowned champions of the 2023-24 MTN FA Cup season after defeating arch rivals Bofoakwa Tano in a 5-4 penalty shootouts at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Bofoakwa Tano took the early lead through Richard Dzikoe in the 22nd minutes before Nsoatreman FC secured the equalizer through Sadat Mohammed in the 80th minutes to extend the game into extra time and penalty shootouts which Nsoatreman emerged victorious.
Nsoatreman’s victory marks a significant achievement for them, adding a prestigious trophy to their cabinet and highlighting their growing prominence in Ghanaian football.
Fans celebrated the win with jubilation, as the team’s success brought pride to their supporters and the wider community.
Nsoatreman FC becomes the 8th club to win the MTN-FA Cup trophy since 2000. Clubs like Accra Hearts of Oak , Kumasi Asante Kotoko , Bechem United , New Edubiase , Nania FC , Medeama SC, and Dreams FC have all won the MTN-FA Cup trophy.
