The vice chairman of the New Patriotic Party for the NPP for the Kintampo constituency, Mr. Abu Sadiq has denied being behind the selection of the constituency’s District Chief Executive (DCE).
Reacting in a telephone conversation with Mr. Emmanuel Kwashie on the Ahotor fm morning show on Wednesday 8the February 2017, he said allegations from the youth within the party in the constituency that he is behind the president’s choice of DCE are false.
He strongly denied this claim by the youth and said he is ready to work with any candidate that is picked for the position.
It is recalled that several nominations by the president for DCE positions have been met with stiff resistance at the district and constituency level of the party.
