In a rather clandestine move to woo sympathy and supports for his candidature and subsequent re- elections in the ongoing Northern Regional elections by the New Patriotic Party which was postponed and plays host to outstanding exercise which took place last weekend Coupled with a painstaking report which unearthed on Thursday regarding a grisly accident involving the Northern regional chairman of the Governing NPP, Daniel Bugri Naabu in the region.
The saddened news ravaged the airwaves though information remained scanty as to what led to the accident, Close aides and leading members announced to the teaming loyalists of the party that Mr. Bugri Naabu sustained varying degrees of injury but was responding to treatment at the hospital after the tragedy through a memo which capsized the tension and anxiety of followers of the NPP on Thursday.
Sections of the public have elucidated that, the revelation is shocking and unheard-off in contemporary politics in the country, taking into cognizant the sensitive and deadly nature of the situation.
However, Social media freaks expressed shocked and burst into Dilemma after seeing the mangled and rickety accident vehicle at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium embossed with Campaign posters by the injured Naabu appealing to delegates to votes massively for him to continue as chairman of the party in the region.
Majority of supporters of the NPP have christened the act as a vile indictments on the intelligent and conscience of the delegates, whiles others retorts the move as a fast one to courts sympathy in seeking for re- election as a regional chairman of the region.
The mangled vehicle has been stationed at the premises of the Sports Stadium where the elections are being conducted amidst divergent talking points.
The election is currently ongoing amidst tight military and police presence in the Northern regional capital to elect Regional executives of the NPP to manned the affairs of the party ahead of the impending elections in 2020 respectively.
