NOT A SINGLE DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECT DONE IN MY COMMUNITY BY THE NPP GOVERNMENT – AKYEM BENKUMHENE

The Chief and people of Akyem Subi in the Kwaebibrem Municipality of Eastern Region are accusing the current Government led by President Nana Akuffo Addo and Dr. Bawumia that, since they came to power in 2017 till date, the Subi Community hasn’t seen any development making their lives very uncomfortable.


According to the Benkumhene of Akyem Subi, Bafour Nana Asiedu Asare the first is of the view that, his Community has a population of about 1,000 people with unemployed youth is very disturbing and very unfortunate.


With many resources of income to the country which includes cocoa farming, palm plantations, palm oil making, gold mining, and many others but yet still they are living in poverty.


He further stated that the Subi Presbyterian Basic School which got its roof off by a heavy storm about eight months ago has not received any attention from the Municipal Assembly, he has affected teaching and learning, coupled with a lack of portable drinking water, proper public toilet facility in the community.


The community has no lorry station which poses a great challenge to drivers and commuters plying transport services as a source of income.
