Dr (Elder) Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, National Chairman of NDC, and chief executive officer for Universal Multimedia company limited, owners of both AHOTOR FM ( 92.3) in Tema and Radio One (100.7) in the Eastern Region, turned 60 years old on 10th March, 2022.
Climaxing the event , a special birthday program was organized to eulogize his contributions in politics and Christendom community of the country.
The former lawmaker is one Of Ghana’s finest and honest politician who cut across the various political spectrum on the globe.
Marking the celebrations on the birthday of 10th March 2022. The enigmatic and erudite National Chairman of NDC expressed joy and appreciation to the guests including staffs of the universal multimedia company limited for gracing the event in a grand style.
He use the opportunity to reminisced the past from when he was a district chief executive for Fanteakwa in the Eastern Region, shared fond memories from when late president Flight Jerry Johnson Rawlings extended a call on him to serve in the PNDC era. The former National Organiser for The NDC also spoke at length on various national issues confronting Ghanaians under President Akufo Addo within the 5 years into his government, and called on fellow countrymen and women to rally behind The NDC for victory come 2024.
Furthermore, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang ,the 2020 running mate to former presidential candidate of the NDC, John Drammani Mahama ,who appeared at the event unannounced received cheers and pleasantries from the patrons.
She expressed delight of being part of the event, and extolled the virtues.

The NDC National Chairman until his elevation unto the chairmanship position of the party served as a Former member Of Parliament for Fanteakwa district in the Eastern Region, Local Government minister, board chairman of the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority. He have also held several portfolios in both local and internationally.

Clad in an all white attire, Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo thanked God for adding a year unto his age and asked for more blessings, guidance and protection. He expressed warm felicitations to the guests and thanked them for being part of the celebration.
Also surprised arrival of General Secretary of The NDC John Asiedu Nketia lightened the euphoria and excitement in the gathering. Mr. Asiedu Nketia describe chairman Ofosu Ampofo as a friend and comrade and as a sign of brotherliness he deem it trite to celebrate the day together.
Similarly other rank and file of The NDC grace the occasion and celebrated the man many avowed as a colossus in the country political history. The role of Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo according to the invitees is legendary and ought to be celebrated by all especially on such auspicious day.
Many mentees , including Constituency, regional, national executives who have or serving under the tutelage of Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo were largely represented to fraternize with the birthday celebrant, Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.

In conclusion, it was all joy, action packed fun and pageantry greeted what is been touted as a colourful ceremony. The residence of Hon Samuel Ofosu Ampofo at Tema Community 16 Lashibi, was a sight to behold on Thursday.
