Nollywood Actor Charles Okocha Opens Up About Surviving Six Gunshots: “I Want the World to See My Scars”

Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, popularly known as Igwe 2Pac, recently revealed a life-threatening incident that almost cost him his life. In a recent episode of Curiosity Made Me Ask, Okocha shared the shocking story of being shot six times and surviving against all odds.

The actor recounted how one of the bullets passed through his stomach, emerging from the other side.

When host Bae U Barbie asked if the rumors about him being shot six times were true, Okocha stripped to reveal his scars and said, “I want the world to see my scars. Six shots. One of the bullets entered my stomach and came out the other side.”

He added, “If you knew I was shot, you wouldn’t even be asking. I’m a survivor. Look at my life, look at what I’ve been through. I’m the last real ngga alive, and that’s official.”

In other news, Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo, also known as Omoborty, has accused industry marketers of driving her out of the film industry. The actress, who recently married her US-based partner Adeniyi Olabiyi in July 2024, has been notably absent from the screen for years.

Taking to Instagram, Omoborty explained the reason behind her disappearance. She revealed that she faced sexual pressure from marketers, which ultimately damaged her career. She said she was blacklisted for refusing to meet their demands, including removing her underwear, and accused them of further sabotaging her career by telling producers to stop casting her and even removing her image from a film poster where she played the lead role.

In her post, she wrote, “Marketers are the reason I left the industry after blacklisting me for refusing to remove my panties. They told producers to stop featuring me and even went as far as removing my photo from the poster of a film where I played the lead role. How much damage do you think I should talk about? They did so much harm that I eventually got tired of acting and walked away.”

She went on to say that her passion for acting turned into hatred, and she began turning down roles. However, she expressed gratitude for being alive and doing well in life, saying, “That’s a story for another day, but God will judge evildoers. Thank God I’m a living testimony today! I’m doing extremely well.”
