Nobody is pressuring you to listen to Rev Owusu Bempah if you disagree with him – Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi.

The National Communication Officer for the National Democratic Congress   (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, takes the prophetic words of Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah regarding the results of the election on December 7 seriously.

He asserts that the prophecy has a 100% premium assigned to it by the NDC.

On Thursday, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi stated during an interview that the NDC is unfazed by the controversy that the prophecy has caused. On October 1, the founder and head of Glorious Word Power Ministries gave a prophecy that NDC presidential candidate John Mahama would win the 2024 election.

Background

Rev. Owusu Bempah asserted at a prayer session for Mr. Mahama in Accra that God had given the former president another chance to lead the country because of his good heart.

Nonetheless, certain political figures—most notably those from the NPP—have asserted that these forecasts shouldn’t be taken as heavenly certainties but rather as simple human guesses.

Others have claimed it stems from hurt and rage over what they see as the NPP’s disregard for the man of God. Mr. Gyamfi, however, has dismissed all of these objections and questioned the purpose of Rev. Owusu Bempah’s fictitious prophecy.

He underlined that the NDC is being supported by the three main indicators used to predict elections: people, polls, and prophets.”I discuss this problem and don’t understand the fuss surrounding it. Nobody is pressuring you to listen to him if you disagree with him. Nobody, I believe, expected a prophesy to be revealed during the occasion.

He announced what he heard to be the voice of God. “Everything points to John Mahama as a big winner. The people have said so, the prophets have said so, and the polls support this,” he remarked.

In the meantime, Kate Gyamfuah, the NPP Women’s Organiser, has said that the wing will fast and pray from Monday, October 6 to Wednesday, October 9, in order to refute the prophecy, which she claims is not from God.
