Kwesi Pratt has cautioned the National Democratic Congress against witchhunting members of the New Patriotic Party and officials in the Akufo-Addo government when they officially take over the reins of government.
According to him, they achieve nothing with their witchhunt if after “arresting the people and sending them to jail, the price of kenkey moves from 5 cedis to 10 cedis or the dollar increases from 17 cedis to 25”.
Speaking in a media interview, the Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper advised the NDC to rather focus on easing the economic challenges confronting Ghanaians.
To him, this is what matters to the ordinary Ghanaian, not they chasing after officials and leaders of the New Patriotic Party who will in 2025 be on the opposition bench.
“For me, what is essential to me, Ghanaians and must be of concern to the NDC is for them to ensure Ghanaians have relief. If we don’t get (economic) relief, whatever you do will mean nothing”,
