No plans to sack Ole, Mark Goldbridge confirms.

Brent Di Cesare, better known by his online alias Mark Goldbridge has confirmed that Manchester United Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will still be in charge despite mounting pressure from some fans to management to sack the manager.

Solskjaer, whose team lost to Aston villa last week in the English Premier league has been criticised by many as not playing to the strength of the team and poor tactical display.
Speaking on the morning show, Mark Goldbridge confirmed he had received information that suggested there is no plans to look at replacing the Norwegian;

“Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job (is) safer than ever.
“I was speaking to somebody this morning who I’ve spoken to quite a few times. I do speak to certain people in and around the media and in and around the club and I was told this morning that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job is safer than ever.

“The actual quote was ‘his job is probably safer than Thomas Tuchel is at Chelsea.”
Considering Tuchel delivered Chelsea’s second Champions League trophy only four months ago, that shows you the enormity of the trust Solskjaer has from the Manchester United board.
Goldbridge continued;

“Now if you think about the enormity of that statement, obviously the next question was ‘Why is that?’.
“The answer is that what Manchester United fans need to realise is that the Glazers and the people at Manchester United are not Roman Abramovic, they’re not Sheikh Mansour, they’re not other owners. These are not football people.

“Finance is about stability. Manchester United’s financial state at the moment is ridiculously good. Six months ago they were concerned about the Super League fallout but the summer they’ve had is not reflective of what happens on the pitch.

“They’ve got Ronaldo, they’ve got Sancho, they’ve got Varane and they’ve got massive, massive, massive merchandise sales. They’ve got massive interest from brands.
“They’ve made a lot of money last year. Manchester United made out they lost all this money last year from matchday revenue but if you actually look at the figures, what we lost on revenue at the game we made up massively from TV rights.”

There are some fans saying that if United were to lose against Villarreal on Wednesday that it could be the end of Solskjaer. Goldbridge has been told different;
“Solskjaer’s job is safer than ever because utimately that football club is in a fantastic situation to make money for the Glazers. So Solskjaer is not in danger.

“The only way Solskjaer would ever be in danger is if we’re not in the top four at the end of the season.
“I was even told this morning that fans are going ‘Oh, if we lose on Wednesday then we’re probably going back to the Europa League which means he will be sacked by Christmas’. I was told this morning absolutely not. Absolutely not.

“If he doesn’t get top four in May, maybe that would be the end of Solskjaer but he wouldn’t lose his job just because United got knocked down into the Europa League.
“Man United made lots of money last year from going from the Champions League into the Europa League. You’re playing more games in the Europa League than you do in the Champions League, unless they’ve changed the format.
“United went all the way to the final and they made a lot of money from that so this belief that we’re run by football people, we’re not. We’re run by business people and the club is in a good situation at the moment and it is stable.

“Also, let’s not forget that Solskjaer is loved by the players, loved by the coaches, loved by the owners. That’s the hat-trick.
“There’s no tension, there’s no question marks, there is no prospect of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job being in danger.”

Manchester United’s next game will be against Spanish club Villarreal in the UEFA Champions league on Wednesday.
