Nicolas Jackson, a Chelsea striker, has retaliated against John Mikel Obi, the former captain of the Super Eagles, by urging him to stop talking. Jackson expressed his annoyance on Instagram at Mikel Obi’s critical remarks against the team’s forwards.
On Sunday, the Senegal international scored the first goal in 98 seconds as the Blues defeated Wolves.
Jackson then found Cole Palmer with a pass, bringing the first-half score to 2-1. This occurred one week after Mikel Obi, who felt the 23-year-old was not good enough for Chelsea, chastised him for his performance in the team’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City.
Jackson used the opportunity to respond to Mikel Obi on social media following the match at Wolves.
He wrote, “Shut your mouth, don’t talk shit, we are killing ourselves for Africa,” in an Instagram Story, tagging Mikel.
