Former Tema Central parliamentary aspirant and an active member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Working Committee for the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Sedinam Matanawui, has boldly declared that the NDC is well-positioned to secure victory in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Speaking during a community engagement in Tema Central, Hon. Sedinam highlighted the unwavering commitment of thousands of party members across constituencies who are working tirelessly to ensure victory for the NDC. She expressed optimism about the party’s grassroots mobilization and described the 2024 election as a critical moment for the future of Ghana.
In a show of dedication to the cause, Hon. Sedinam donated GH₵30,000 to support various party activities ahead of the elections. Out of this, GH₵10,000 was allocated directly to the Tema Central constituency to boost their campaign efforts. She urged constituents to actively participate in the electoral process, emphasizing the need for every vote to count.
“This election is about restoring hope and progress for our nation. The NDC is prepared to lead Ghana back to economic stability, and come January 7, 2025, John Dramani Mahama will be sworn in as president. Let’s all play our part to make this happen,” Hon. Sedinam remarked.
Dr. Benjamin Djakumah, Tema Central NDC Chairman, commended Sedinam for her continued support and leadership, describing her as a true pillar of the party. He also praised Ebi Bright, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Tema Central, for her consistent efforts in engaging the electorate and strengthening the party’s presence in the constituency.
“The collective efforts of our party members and leaders like Hon. Sedinam and Ebi Bright demonstrate the unity and resilience of the NDC in Tema Central. Together, we will deliver victory for the NDC at all levels,” Dr. Djakumah concluded.
As the December elections approach, the NDC’s robust groundwork and strategic efforts in constituencies like Tema Central signal a strong bid for power in the face of a competitive political landscape.
