The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to intensify its political presence in the Western Region, as the party’s Vice-Presidential candidate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, embarks on a three-day strategic campaign tour beginning Tuesday.
This critical tour underscores the NDC’s determination to reclaim constituencies currently under opposition control, targeting key areas where the party lacks parliamentary representation.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will launch her campaign in the Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency, proceeding through the Ahanta West and Mpohor constituencies.
Her itinerary also includes pivotal stops in Shama, Essikado-Ketan, Sekondi, Takoradi, Effia, and Kwesimintsim—areas that are crucial to the NDC’s electoral strategy in the region.
In her outreach efforts, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will engage directly with market women, traders, commercial drivers, and the broader public, as the NDC seeks to consolidate grassroots support.
The campaign tour is expected to culminate on Thursday, as the NDC seeks to galvanize momentum in the Western Region ahead of the upcoming elections.
