National Chairman of the NDC Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo yesterday June 4th, 2022 cut sod for the construction of an office complex for Biakoye Constituency in the Oti Region.
The project which is being financed by the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Hon. Kwadwo Aboagye- Nyapong also presented a Brand New Bus to the Constituency.
Hon. Nyapong said the donation forms part of his commitment to resource the party at the constituency level.
He said the bus will help members of the NDC as well as the party’s executives in the Biakoye constituency to work hard in achieving the NDC’s ultimate goal of winning the 2024 elections.
Hon. Aboagye-Nyapong enumerated the drilling of more than 25 borehole, organising free eye screening for his constituents, securing loans for traders, payment of school fees for some students in the area, upgrading of feeder roads and many more as part of his developmental support to his constituents.
In attendance were National Chairman of the NDC Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the General Secretary of the party Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Prof. Jean Naana Opoku Agyemang, Hon. Kofi Adams and a host of other party executives at regional, Constituency and Branch levels.
National Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Ofosu Ampofo urged party members to take branch elections seriously as the road towards election 2024 had just started.
He said that the branch elections were pivotal in ensuring the party wins the 2024 general elections.
